Things I've learned and improved upon:
- Game Design
- 3D modelling
- Client work
Sea Of Debris is a small game about Ocean Trash Cleaning set in VR. The goal of the game is to clean the Ocean as much as possible before it gets dirty. Since TeamSeas cleaned 1 pound of trash per dollar donated. We had similar donation goals in the game as well. Our timers were natural as well. If the player didn’t clean enough the environment would become more dirty.
The gameplay loop is really simple. The player would need to collect the trash from the ocean, and once the machine was full they needed to recycle it by shooting trash in the correct bins.

I used to be an artist back in that project. We had time left so a teammate and I thought it’d be fun to make a trailer about the tool the player is using.
Looking back on this project, I wished we noted down our gameplay loop and design methods better. The project turned out cool, but back then we did not have a great overview on the design.
